Nexans participate 'Airport Design, Construction and Operations – 2016' conference
Nexans presented customized cable solutions for airports
Moscow, October 27-28, 2016 - Nexans took part in Fifth International Conference “Airport Design, Construction and Operations – 2016”. The Conference was hosted by the Center for Strategic Development in Civil Aviation (AVIACENTER).
It is the main professional industry forum in Russia for discussing all the issues of improving the regulatory framework of airport and aerodrome design on the level of public authorities and business, as well as for sharing experiences, presenting new ideas and technologies. Experts from Nexans Rus. had been participated this event not for the first time already.
During last decade with lessons learned from hosting international and world-famous events like Universiade in Kazan, Olympic Games in Sochi, Football Championship 2018 etc. Russia got unique and massive experience in airport infrastructure design, construction and operating which includes innovative industry-specific solutions. Nowadays one of the most significant topics for the airport industry is safety and security. Nexans devoted its presentation to this aspect of infrastructure solutions. Fire resistant halogen free and armored Nexans cables already installed at well-known Russian airports like Sheremetevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Kurumoch, Makhachkala, Yuzhny and in many other airports all over the world.
